About Matt
Matt is a seasoned live events professional with over a decade of experience. He is passionate about using technical arts to provoke feeling and emotion. Currently, Matt is working as the Theatre Operations & Technical Assistant at the Grand Theatre Center for the Arts, in the emerging community of Tracy, CA. Previously, Matt worked as a lighting and pyro technician at Carnival Cruise Line on one of their 26 ships. He has broad working experience in cruise ships, houses of worship, touring houses and theatres with extensive designing, programming and operation experience. Working hard while having fun is his motto! He is well used to performing extensive hours to meet deadlines. On his time off, you might find Matt listening to music and researching the latest in production technologies.
